ZBrush Modeling

Styracosaurus means "spiked lizard" and is a genus of herbivorous ceratopsian from de Cretaceous Period. This animal was a relatively large dinosaur, reaching lengths of 5.5 meters and weighing nearly 3 tones.

According to the last researches about triceratops, the head was all coated with keratine. That's why following the parsimonious evolution I decided to make the same with this ceratopsian dinosaur. Also the scales follow the same size and pattern that we know about triceratops.

Modeled in ZBrush, painted in Substance Painter, rendered in Arnold.
